I recently stayed at Seamore House in Moffat for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the town center, making it a great base for exploring the area. The on-street parking right outside the hotel provided a safe and convenient place for my car. Despite being located at the front of the house, my room was quiet and I wasn't disturbed by any street noise. The room itself was spacious, well decorated, and had a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was cleverly designed with a gentle shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The highlight of my stay was the incredible choice of food at breakfast, with options for every dietary preference. Lastly, Lisa, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I do recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Seamore House in Moffat. The location was perfect for us, right in the town center with easy access to restaurants and cafes. The Victorian building itself was beautiful and added charm to our experience. Our room, the deluxe double room, exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and had lovely touches like a decanter of whiskey and sherry, a tub of sweets, and a fridge stocked with water, espresso, and chocolates. The hosts were welcoming and provided us with all kinds of goodies, including a bottle of single malt whiskey. Breakfast was a highlight with a vast selection of food, including a full Scottish breakfast and options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diets. The small perks like magazines and can water made us feel at home. Despite being on the front overlooking the road, the room was reasonably quiet. we highly recommend Seamore House for a delightful stay in Moffat.

Stayed in room 6, felt like a queen with the decanter of whiskey and sherry. So many treats in the fridge! Breakfast was a feast fit for royalty.
Not enough sausages for breakfast, had to start my diet early.
